We are so excited to meet you for your upcoming FAIRY BALLET lesson!
Here are some quick pointers to keep in mind to make sure your Fairy Ballerina has a smooth and enjoyable first day.
1. Arrive Early
Sometimes it is so hard to get out the door on time I know, but allowing your dancer those few extra minutes before classes start to meet her new teachers, see the new room, and settle in before the class commences will help so much! We also don’t want you to be stressed out trying to find our address or rushing out of the car as kids do pick up on that stress! A nice relaxed arrival will result in a relaxed (but exited!) dancer.
2. Make The Fairy Shop a familiar place –
If possible, come into the shop and have a visit leading up to your Ballerina’s first day! Even just drive past the shop and wave, draw a picture of it or talk about it with friends in the week leading up to the lesson. Make it an exciting and familiar place that your daughter will be comfortable to visit.
3. Dress the part!
One of the best parts about Fairy Ballet is the costumes! Any excuse to get dressed up right!? So pull out those tutus, those frilly dresses and those Elsa capes as nothing is too outrageous at Fairy Ballet!
4. Trust your Fairy Ballet Teachers
Being a Fairy Ballet Teacher is actually THE BEST job in the world, so we only employ the most experienced, fun and loving teachers. These girls will care and nurture your little ones in a safe environment, so trust them when the give suggestions or advice on how to settle your dancer in. Our classrooms are just for Fairy Ballet Teachers and Fairy Ballet Dancers, Mummies and Daddies must wait in our waiting area and watch on the screen.
5. Keep Calm and Enjoy the moment!
What a special moment…her first ballet class! Enjoy it and treasure it forever. This could be the start of an absolutely magical dance journey for your family, and we are so excited to be apart of it!
